Welcome...

Update: December 2024

Our online shop is still closed for stocktaking, but...

So sorry, I have not yet had the chance to complete the stocktaking and adjusting the website. I am still wotrking on it though... please get in touch if you are interested in anything in the meantime!

The other thing to note is that as of the 5th December 2024, there will no longer be an online store for downloads. This means that if you want order a pdf version of any of the patterns or booklets, you will need to email me with the details of what you want. You can pay by BACS or I will try to find out how you can pay via PayPal. I will then email you the pattern(s) and/or booklet(s). Alternatively, you can order a hard copy and I will print it out and post it to you! Just like in the old days...

We operate from our pair of narrowboats: Celtic Fringe and The Buthy. The Buthy is our workshop and shop, when we are open, and is an unpowered butty, towed by Celtic Fringe, the motor.

We are now trading from the towpath as well as at Floating Markets, and are currently (May 2024) on the Leeds & Liverpool canal near Gargrave and heading for Skipton... We plan on being up north for a while!

This website is primarily to give you an idea of the types of handcrafted goods we will be selling, rather than selling stuff from this website. This is because most of the stuff we make is tactile and can't be appreciated properly through pictures and text. However, it is possible to buy through the website if, for example, you have seen something you like at a craft fair or on the website... but please note that our online shop is closed for stocktaking at the moment...

Not everything we sell is on the website though...

If you have any questions in the meantime, or can't find what you want in our online shop, please Contact us.

Also, if you spot any broken links, typos or any other mistakes, please let me know!
